Imdur tablet is an antianginal medicine. It contains isosorbide mononitrate as the active ingredient. Imdur tablet is used to prevent heart-related chest pain (angina pectoris).
Isordil is used for preventing symptoms of angina (chest pain) caused by heart disease. This medicine is used alone or with other medicines. This medicine is NOT intended for the immediate relief of acute attacks of angina.
Sorbitrate (Isosorbide dinitrate) is in a group of drugs called nitrates. Sorbitrate dilates (widens) blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them and easier for the heart to pump. Sorbitrate is used to treat or prevent attacks of chest pain (angina).
